1. PURPOSE
To lay down the procedure to perform Pre Dispatch Inspection.
2.0 SCOPE
2.1 This procedure is applicable in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Production and Warehouse.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY

5.0 PROCEDURE
5.1 Packing section - Warehouse department shall receive the Delivery Orders from the Marketing department.
5.2 Packing section - Warehouse shall verify the Delivery Order and shall fill up the Pre dispatch inspection checklist (As per Annexure – I). In case of any discrepancy, clarifications shall be taken from marketing department.
5.3 Packing section - Warehouse shall register the delivery orders product wise in a register (as per Annexure – III).
5.4 Packing section - Warehouse shall coordinate with Production, Quality Control and Excise section for material dispatch as per Delivery Order.
5.5 In case of part quantity dispatch or whether a delivery order has more than one product, a photocopy of delivery order shall be taken and registered with balance quantity.
5.6 After packing, Packing section – Warehouse shall prepare a packing list as per Annexure – II.
5.7 Packing section - Warehouse shall intimate to Quality Assurance for inspection.
5.8 Quality Assurance shall inspect and review concerned documents against the Delivery Order on satisfactory compliance to requirements of Delivery Order ,the consignment is released by Quality Assurance.
5.9 Packing section - Warehouse transfers the material to bonded warehouse for subsequent dispatch by Excise section - Warehouse
5.10 Excise section - Warehouse shall dispatch the material with necessary statutory documents.
5.11 Quality Assurance shall maintain a docket containing Certificate of Analysis, packing list, copy of the First and last labels & Delivery Order along with respective checklists as distribution records.
