2.1 This procedure is applicable for Calibration of Auto Titrator in
quality control.

5.0 PROCEDURE
5.1 Operate the instrument as per the respective SOP and calibrate the Auto Titrator as follows.
5.1.1 PRECISION
5.1.1.1 Determine the normality of 0.1 N NaOH/0.1N Perchloric acid
solution by taking ~150 mg of Potassium hydrogen phthalate.
Calculate the % RSD five such determinations. It should be not
more than 1.0. Record the details as per Format No.xxxxx
5.1.2 LINEARITY
5.1.2.1 Titrate 0.1 N NaOH/0.1N Perchloric acid solution with potassium
hydrogen phthalate by taking sample weights of 100, 125, 150,175
and 200 mg. Plot a linearity graph of sample weight Vs volume
consumed.
The correlation coefficient of the graph thus obtained shall be NLT 0.999.Record the details as per Format No.xxxxxsop
5.1.3 FREQUENCY: Once in three months.
