HPLC AND GC SOFTWARE INTEGRITY CHECK

1.       PURPOSE :

          To have a written procedure for HPLC and GC software integrity

 II.      SCOP

          To check the soft ware integrity of HPLC and GC soft ware integrity check.

III.      RESPONSIBILITY:

          It is the responsibility of Quality Control personnel to follow this SOP.

V        PROCEDURE:

          Software integrity check :

          For class VP serie

         Checking the Program Files :

1. Select the “START” button on the START menu go to ‘Programs’ run the

CHROMATOGRAPHY – CLASS VP 5.0 ALTERATION test.

1. The purpose of ALTERATION test is to check the Program files.
2. On selecting the Alteration Test, press the Execute Button appearing in the Dialogue box for “Checking the Program Files”.
3. The program will examine the files.
4. If the program files are not modified or corrupted, the display will be shown as <>.
5. Further details, if required, shall be displayed on clicking the “Notepad” button. Where any file is found to be corrupted, the summary of check will be given as “FAIL”. If the         file is not found to be corrupted, the summary will be displayed as  “PASS”.

          For Agilent serie

         Checking the Program Files:

1. Select the “START” button on the START menu go to ‘Programs’ run the

CHEMSTATION >Installation Qualification.

1. The purpose of ‘Installation Qualification’ test is to check the Program files.
2. The program will examine the files.
3. If the program files are not modified or corrupted, the display will shows

Verification result.

All Chemstation files retrieved with correct version>.

For GC2010 series:

   Checking the Program Files:

1. Double click on  the “GC Real-time analysis 1” the ‘Real time analysis’ window will be appeared.
2. In Real time analysis’ window go to , then click on ‘EXECUTE’.
3. The program will examine the files.
4. If the program files are not modified or corrupted, the display will shows the result

TOTAL PASSED.

For CLASS GC-10 series:

Checking the Program Files:

1. Double click on the “CLASS GC 10” the ‘CLASS GC 10’ window will be appeared.
2. In ‘CLASS GC 10’ window select , then click on ‘EXECUTE’.
3. The program will examine the files.
4. If the program files are not modified or corrupted, the display will shows the result

TOTAL PASSED.

        For WATERS series:

Checking the Program Files:

1. Select the “START” button on the START menu go to ‘Programs’ run the

EMPOWER..

1. Click on ‘ Verify Files’.
2. The program will examine the files.
3. If the program files are not modified or corrupted, the display will shows

Verification result.

No Installation changes were detected >.

                        Note : If the integrity check fails in any system call the corresponding service personnel and reload the software.
