Raw Material Intermediate And API Tag Control

1.0    PURPOSE

        To lay down the procedure for Raw Material, Intermediate and API Tag control.  

2.0    SCOPE

2.1    This SOP is applicable in Warehouse,Production and Engineering Stores.

3.0    RESPONSIBILITY

3.1    Head -     Production

3.2    Head -    Warehouse

3.3    Head – Engineering Stores

4.0    ACCOUNTABILITY

4.1    Head-    Quality Assurance  
    
5.0    PROCEDURE

5.1    Tag shall be controlled by respective user department.  

5.2    Indent for tag shall be raised by the respective user department.

5.3    Tag shall be issued to the respective department after verification from Quality Assurance.

5.4    Quality Assurance shall verify the tag of each consignment before issue to the respective department.

5.5    Incharge Engineering Stores shall inform to Quality Assurance after receiving the tags for each indent.

5.6    User department shall attach the sample of tag during indent.

5.7    Quality Assurance shall verify for
5.7.1    Text Matter.
5.7.2    Format number.
5.7.3    Size of tag.

5.8    Separate tag shall be used for raw material issue, Intermediate and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient. 

5.9    Format for tags as per the format number.
