1.0 PURPOSE:
To describe a standard operating procedure (SOP) for operating of Blender BL-03.
2.0 SCOPE:
The SOP describes in detail the method for operating of the Blender BL-03.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
The responsibility of operating Blender lies with the staff of the rank not lower than operator of the production department.
The responsibility of preparing, reviewing and approving the SOP lies with the Dy. Manager (Production), Head of Production and Head of QAD respectively.
4.0 METHOD:
4.1 Switch 'OFF' the power supply to the blender.
4.2 Open the top lid. Adjust the position of the blender for loading the material to be blended.
4.3 Weigh the material to be blended as per blending advise.
4.4 Load the material carefully without spillage into blender and close the top lid.
4.5 Switch 'ON' the power supply to the blender, set the desired RPM (NMT 12.0) and blend for specified time.
4.6 Adjust the position of the blender for unloading by pressing inching switch.
4.7 Unload the material by opening bottom lid and fill the material in fiber drums/HDPE drums of desired size containing two poly bags.
4.8 Tie the bags, close the drum with lid, weigh and seal.
4.9. Fix the bottom lid of the blender.
