Entry Exit And Gowning Procedure In Quality Control And Microbiology For Personnel And Visitors

1.0    OBJECTIVE

1.1    To lay down a procedure for entry, exit and gowning procedure in quality control and microbiology for personnel and visitors.

2.0    SCOPE

2.1    This SOP covers the operation procedure for entry, exit and gowning procedure in quality control and microbiology for personnel and visitors.

3.0    RESPONSIBILITY        

3.1    All persons working in Quality Control and Microbiology.

4.0    ACCOUNTABILITY    

    4.1    Head - Quality Control

5.0    PROCEDURE            

5.1    Entry procedure of Quality Control personnel

5.1.1    Enter into the change room.
5.1.2    Wear the apron and cap from the wardrobe.
5.1.3    Enter into the quality control. 

5.2    Exit procedure of Quality Control personnel

5.2.1    Remove the apron and cap and put hang at designated place.
5.2.2    Exit from change room.

5.3    Entry procedure of visitors into Quality control

5.3.1    Enter into the change room.
5.3.2    Wear the apron and disposable cap from the wardrobe.
5.3.3    Enter into the quality control.

5.4    Exit procedure of visitors from Quality control

5.4.1    Remove the cap and put it in dustbin, remove the apron and put it in soiled garment box.
5.4.2    Exit from change room.

5.5    Entry procedure of Microbiology personnel

5.5.1    Enter into the change room.
5.5.2    Wear the apron and cap from the wardrobe.
5.5.3    Enter into the microbiology change room.
5.5.4    Leave the street footwear in the designated racks.
5.5.5    Follow the entry and gowning procedure for controlled area at microbiology as per current version of SOP No xxxxx

5.6    Exit procedure of Microbiology personnel

5.6.1    Follow the exit procedure for controlled area at microbiology as per current version of SOP No xxxxx
5.6.2    Enter into the microbiology area.
5.6.3    Wear the street footwear from the designated racks.
5.6.4    Exit from the microbiology change room.
5.6.5    Remove the apron and cap and hang at designated place.
5.6.6    Exit from change room.

5.7    Entry procedure of visitors into Microbiology

5.7.1    Enter into the change room.
5.7.2    Wear the Visitor apron and disposable cap from the wardrobe.
5.7.3    Enter into the microbiology change room.
5.7.4    Entry and gowning procedure for controlled area at microbiology shall be followed as per current version of SOP No xxxxx.

5.8     Exit procedure of visitors into Microbiology 

5.8.1    Follow the exit procedure for controlled area at microbiology as per current version of SOP No xxxxx
5.8.2    Exit from the microbiology area.
5.8.3    Remove the cap and put it in dustbin, remove the apron and put it in soiled garment box.
5.8.4    Exit from change room.
