5.0 PROCEDURE
5.1 Operation
5.1.1 Connect the inlet valve of the TOC Analyser to the Sampling port.
5.1.2 Connect the power plug to three pin plug of TOC and connect the other side to power supply.
5.1.3 Switch on the power supply and switch on the instrument Power button green lamp glows in the button.
5.1.4 Open the Sampling valve and adjust the flow.
5.1.5 The instrument initially conducts a series of self-diagnostics routines, shown by green controller LED, to verify that the system is operating properly or not.
5.1.6 The system displays as below
5.1.8 Press the ‘Manual’ key in order to access the Analyzer’s Manual Menu.
5.1.9 Then Press “Enter” Select ‘Modes’ and then press ‘Enter’ to access the sub menu. The system displays as
5.1.10 Press the ? key once (provided over the instrument) to specify ‘Purge’ and press ‘Enter’ to enable the Purge mode.
5.1.12 After 2 -3 minutes press ‘Manual’ the system displays as below
5.1.14 Then press “View “ to Specify ‘TOC’ as shown below
5.1.15 After the TOC reading was noted by the printer, press the ‘ Manual’ key in –order to access the Analyzer’ Manual Menu
5.1.16 Switch on printer to get printout.
5.1.17 Select ‘Modes’ then press ‘Enter’ to access its submenu.
5.1.18 Follow the steps 5.1.8 to 5.1.12
5.1.19 Record the TOC and conductivity of the water in the Purified Water protocol No TP/RM/00800 00/00.
