1.0 PURPOSE:
To describe a standard operating procedure (SOP) for cleaning of vacuum cleaner.
2.0 SCOPE:
The SOP describes in detail the method of cleaning of vacuum cleaner.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
The responsibility of maintaining of cleaning of vacuum cleaner as per the SOP lies with the staff of rank not lower than operator of production department.
The responsibility of preparing, reviewing and approving the SOP lies with the Executive (Production), Head of Production and Head of QAD respectively.
4.0 METHOD:
4.1 Remove the crevice nozzle and double swivel hose pipe and clean with pressure.
4.2 Open the top cover by pressing front catch, remove the plastic ring, remove old paper bag and insert the fresh paper bag into canvas dust bag.
4.3 Squeeze mouth of paper bag and replace the plastic ring.
4.4 Close the top cover by press the front cover shut and connect the double swivel hose pipe and crevice nozzle.
4.5 The total time is taking carrying out steps 4.1 to 4.4 is about 30 min.
4.6 Frequency : cleaning shall be done after completion of area cleaning.
