1.0 PURPOSE:
To describe a standard operating procedure (SOP) for cleaning of window glass panes.
2.0 SCOPE:
The SOP describes in detail the method for cleaning of window glass panes.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
The responsibility of cleaning of window glass panes as per the standard operating procedure lies with the staff of the rank not lower than operator of production department.
The responsibility of preparing, reviewing and approving the SOP lies with the Officer (Production), Head of Production and Head of QAD respectively.
4.0 METHOD:
4.1 Soak a muslin cloth (25 cm x 25 cm) in 5 Liters water and squeeze.
4. 2 Clean the window glass panes with the above squeezed cloth free from dirt.
4.3
Repeat steps 4.1 and 4.2 till all the window glass panes are cleaned.
4.4 Frequency : Twice in a day.
5.0 RECORDING:
The window glass panes cleaning operation will be recorded by the supervisor in the area cleaning record as shown in annexure-I of SOPxxxxx
