1.0 PURPOSE:
To describe a standard operating procedure (SOP) for operating Microniser MI-02.
2.0 SCOPE:
The SOP describes in detail the method for operating Microniser MI-02.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
The responsibility of operating Microniser MI-02 lies with the staff of the rank not lower than operator of the production department.
The responsibility of preparing, reviewing and approving the SOP lies with the Dy. Manager (Production), Head of Production and Head of QAD respectively.
4.0 METHOD:
4.1 Check the Microniser for any leaks as per SOPxxxxx
4.2 Check the gauges for calibration status.
4.3 Apply air pressure of 6 – 7 kg/cm2 through needle valves.
4.4 Set the desired feeding pressure by controlling the valve.
4.5 Set the desired grinding pressure by controlling the valve.
4.6 Charge the product in vibrator feeder by using scoop and switch “ON” the electric supply to vibrator feeder and adjust the feeding at specified rate.
4.7 Collect the product in blows 1,2 & 3.
