OPERATION OF SONICATOR

  
1.0   PURPOSE

1.1    To lay down the procedure for operation of sonicator-Equipment identification number: LABI/xxxxx

4.0    PROCEDURE

4.1        Connect the instrument to 230 volts A/C supply.

?    Ensure that the instrument is clean and free from dust.

4.2          Open the drain nozzle to drain water.      
4.3          Fill the water to half the portion of sonicator tub.
4.4          Set the timer by rotating knob.
4.5          Place the sample solution in the sonicator tub      
4.6          Switch on the VC 
4.7    In case of not soluble samples at room temperature, switch on the heater to dissolve at temperature.
4.8          Turn the regulator knob to increase/decrease the sonication time.
4.9          After sonication switch off the instrument
