1.0    PURPOSE:
    
    To describe a standard operating procedure (SOP) to avoid the cross contamination in manufacturing block. 
    
2.0    SCOPE:
    
        The SOP describes in detail the method to avoid the cross contamination in manufacturing block.
    
3.0   RESPONSIBILITY: 
    
       The responsibility method to avoid the cross contamination in manufacturing block as per the SOP lies with the staff of the rank not lower than operator of production department.
    
       The responsibility of preparing, reviewing and approving the SOP lies with the Officer (Production), Head of Production and Head of QAD respectively.
    
4.0    METHOD:
    
4.1    Procedure
    
4.1.1    Only one reactor will be charged at any given time. 
    
4.1.2    During that time all other charging will be staggered. 
    

4.1.3    The manhole of all other reactors in the vicinity will be closed.
    
4.1.4    Similarly at any given time only one type of activity such as centrifuge, drying and filtering etc., is to be taken.

4.1.5    At the time of charging the reactor no discharge in to open containers or centrifuges.

    
5.0       FREQUENCY:

5.1      Cross contamination procedure is to be followed whenever more than one product is being processed in the production block.
