1.0 PURPOSE:
To describe a standard operating procedure for installation of sampling booth.
2.0 SCOPE:
The Standard opering procedure describes in detail the method of installation of sampling booth.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
The responsibility of carrying out installation of sampling booth as per the standard operating procedure lies with the staff of rank not lower than Maintenance Engineer.
The responsibility of preparing, reviewing and approving the standard operating procedure lies with the Manager - Maintenance, Head of Production and Head of QAD respectively.
4.0 METHOD:
4.1 Assemble the unit in position and clean.
4.2 Fix the manometer, fill it with manometer liquid till the scale to be adjusted to zero.
4.3 Give electrical connections to the blower motor and tube light.
4.4 Give earth connections to the unit to a suitable earth plate as per Indian Standard Act.
4.5 Switch on the unit and run contineously for half and hour.
4.6 Check the unit for noticeable noise or vibration.
5.0 RECORDING:
The responsibility of recording of installation details in the history card lies with the staff of rank not lower than the chargeman.
