1.0 PURPOSE:
1.1 To lay down the procedure for operation of Heidolph-HG3001-Hot Plate.
2.0 SCOPE:
2.1 This procedure is applicable for Quality Control department.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
3.1 Junior Assistant/Senior Assistant – QC
3.2 Senior Executive – QC
4.0 ACCOUNTABILITY:
4.1 Manager – QC
4.2 Asst. Manager – QC
5.0 PROCEDURE:
5.1 Check whether temperature adjustment knob in the front-bottom side of the instrument is in minimum position.
5.2 Switch on the heater by pressing the switch provided in front-top side of the instrument to ‘I’ position.
5.3 Rotate the temperature adjustment knob in clock-wise direction and set it at the desired temperature.
5.4 Keep the vessel-containing sample on the round plate provided on the topside of the instrument.
5.5 After heating rotate the temperature adjustment knob in anti-clock-wise direction and set it to minimum position.
5.6 Switch off the heater by pressing the switch provided in front-top side of the instrument to ‘O’ position.
