2-[(2-{2-[(2,6-dichlorophenyl)amino]phenyl}acetyl)oxy]acetic acid
It is a non-steroidal anti inflammatory agent. They act by blocking the synthesis of prostaglandins by inhibiting cyclooxygenase; cyclooxygenase converts arachidonic acid to cyclic endoperoxides, it is the precursors of prostaglandins. Prostaglandin synthesis inhibition accounts for their antipyretic, analgesic, and platelet-inhibitory actions; other mechanisms may contribute to their anti-inflammatory effects.
Nausea, abdominal pain, blood dyscrasias, rashes, nephrotoxicity, GI bleeding.
Pregnancy and lactation, Hypersensitivity to aspirin or NSAIDs, history of peptic ulceration or GI bleed, moderate to severe renal impairment.
Protect from light. Store in an air tight container in a cool and dry place.
