CYP3A4 inhibitors e.g. azole antifungals, diclofenac, clarithromycin, doxycycline, imatinib, erythromycin, nefazodone, isoniazid, nicardipine, protease inhibitors, propofol, telithromycin, quinidine and verapamil may increase the levels of allopurinol.
