Actions

Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent. Ambroxol has been shown to inhibit the NO-dependent activation of soluble guanylate cyclase, can suppress the excessive mucus secretion; therefore it lowers the viscosity of the phlegm and improves the bronchial secretions of mucociliary transport.
