4-oxo-4-{[(1R,4S,5R,8S,9R,10S,12R,13R)-1,5,9-trimethyl-11,14,15,16-tetraoxatetracyclo[10.3.1.0?,¹³.0?,¹³]hexadecan-10-yl]oxy}butanoic acid
2.4 mg/kg via IM or IV, repaeat after 12 and 24 hours later, thereafter daily once.
For the treatment of severe malaria (Falciparum malaria).
Transient and reversible reticulocytopaenia, bradycardia, drug fever, rash, transient 1st-degree heart block and reversible elevation of serum transaminases.
Hypersensitivity, pregnancy and lactation
