GI upset, pruritus, urticaria, alopoecia, impotence; vertigo, fatigue; increased serum transminases. Leucopenia,thrombocytopenia; myotoxicity.

Interaction

Chlorestyramine inhibits bezafibrate absorption. Enhanced effects of oral anticoagulants

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with advanced liver disease, gallstones or gall blader disorders; primary biliary cirrhosis; severe renal insufficiency, hypoalbumineamia or nephrotic syndrome.
