Hylan G-F 20 should be administered only as Intra-articular injection, once a week. A week apart, the injection dose, should not exceed a total of three injections.

Prescribed for pain in osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee, this medication is a visco supplement.

Respiratory difficulties, rash, itching, hives, fever, headache, nausea, dizziness, muscle cramps, chills, hives, uneasiness, peripheral edema, flushing and facial swelling.

Contraindicated in patients with an infection due to previous administration of this medication and hypersensitivity.

Store at 20-25°C.

Precautions

• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of poor blood circulation, skin disease, any allergy, who are taking other medications, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. 
• Avoid jogging or tennis, weight bearing after receiving an injection.
