Therapeutic uses

Prescribed for the treatment of fungal pneumonia, aspergillosis, ocular fungal infections, candidemia, fungal meningitis, pseudoallescheriosis, systemic fungal infections, cutaneous fungal infections, disseminated fungal infections, fusariosis, esophageal candidiasis, blastomycosis, coccidioidomycosis-induced meningitis, eumycetoma and invasive aspergillosis in adults and children.

This interacst with warfarin, vinblastine, clopidogrel, vincristine, omeprazole, phenytoin, cyclosporine, OCPs, anti-HIV/AIDS drugs, tacrolimus, prednisolone, alfentanil, methadone, NSAIDs, tranquilizers, anti-hypertensive drugs, statins, calcium-channel blockers and oral anti-diabetic drugs.
